Young the Giant Head Out On 2012 Tour Next Week
Formerly known as The Jakes, Young the Giant is a California band that is slowly gaining widespread recognition for their own signature blend of indie rock music. In January of 2011, Young the Giant released their self titled debut album that produced the singles “Cough Syrup”, “Apartment” and “My Body” and the album became Amazon.com’s number three pick for the best rock album of 2010. Young the Giant performed at the 2011 MTV Video Music awards and has toured with the bands Incubus, Minus the Bear and Steel Train and in 2012 they will be embarking on their first headlining tour.
Young the Giant is quickly becoming an indie rock favorite for fans around the country. In December of 2011, it was announced that Young the Giant would be embarking on their first ever headlining tour that would begin in February of 2011 and run through April. Since the news broke, Young the Giant’s concert dates have officially been announced and tickets are quickly selling out at venues all over the country.
