Megadeath Ready for Gigantour 2012

Since 1983, the legendary heavy metal band Megadeth has been creating music that blends thrash, speed and heavy metal into one explosion of hard rocking sounds. Along with Metallica, Slayer and Anthrax, Megadeth is considered to be one of the pioneering bands of the thrash metal movement and their musical contribution to thrash metal music has been a leading source of inspiration for many hard rockin’ bands of today. Megadeth created landmark albums like Peace Sells…But Who’s Buying?, Rust in Peace and Countdown to Extinction and chart topping hits like “Symphony of Destruction”, “Hangar 18″ and “99 Ways to Die” and this summer Megadeth will celebrate the release of their newest album, Thirteen, with their first tour in 4 years.

In October of 2011, Megadeth announced they will be bringing metal mayhem to a variety of concert venues around the country when they join with fellow heavy metal rockers Motorhead, Laguna Coil and Volbeat for the 2012 festival like Gigantour.
