“All Alone” is the opening track on Toro y Moi‘s soon-to-be-released album, Freaking Out, which will be available September 13th.
Chaz Bundick, the man behind Toro y Moi, shared his inspiration for the song, telling Spin Magazine: “I wanted the live show to be more upbeat, therefore we needed upbeat songs to play…I’m excited to start playing this stuff in concert!”
He added that Toro y Moi‘s second album sounds like “ornately funky lounge pop, often with a live, improvisatory feel.”
