Death Cab for Cutie Announce Tour Dates with Backing Orchestra
After the release of their 2011 album, Codes and Keys, Death Cab for Cutie will head out on a 2012 North American tour starting April 10th at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House in Denver, Colorado.
In total, the tour will take them on a 22-date trek across the United States and Canada. What makes this tour so special is that they’ll be accompanied by a 8-piece backing orchestra, the Magik*Magik Orchestra, who provided the string arrangements on Codes and Keys.
Additionally, Youth Lagoon will join Death Cab for Cutie for the second half of this unique tour, starting at the April 27th show at the Beacon Theatre in New York.
