3-Song Temple of the Dog Reunion Held During Pearl Jam’s 20th Anniversary
Not surprisingly, Pearl Jam reached back to their roots and to those of the early Seattle music scene this past weekend when celebrating their 20th anniversary as a band.
Pearl Jam members Eddy Vedder, Mike McCreedy, Matt Cameron and Stone Gossard were joined onstage by Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell for a rendition of the first three songs on Temple of the Dog’s infamous tribute album to Andrew Wood of Mother Love Bone.
According to Consequence of Sound, Pearl Jam was joined on stage by several other artists, including Julian Casablancas, Josh Homme, Liam Finn, Glen Hansard, Dan Peters, among others.
Pearl Jam is currently embarking on a Canadian tour all throughout September before heading south for the winter with shows in Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Peru, Costa Rica and Mexico.
