Todd Rundgren

classic rock, rock, progressive rock I'm a fan

Todd Rundgren is a diverse musician who not only writes, sings and produces music, but he can also play a variety of musical instruments. Since the 1972 release of his debut album Something/Anything?, Rundgren has achieved success not only as a solo artist and member of the bands Nazz and Utopia, but also as a producer of albums for Badfinger, The Band, Grand Funk Railroad, and XTC. When he first embarked on a solo career in the early 1970s, Rundgren was known as a musician who created an eclectic mixture of progressive rock sounds and his influence on pop music is still a relevant force on the music of today. Along with being a talented musician and music producer, Todd Rundgren has always been known for his sometimes quirky stage presence when he plays in concert while on tour. In the 1970s, Rundgren would often take the stage in makeup and flashy costumes, making his personality and stage persona as interesting as his music. For a glimpse at the unique stage persona of Todd Rundgren, here is a live music video for the song "Hello It's Me".
