Thrice is a rock band that was formed in 1998 by then high school students and musicians Dustin Kensrue and Teppei Teranishi. Soon they were joined by fellow musicians and brothers Eddie and Riley Breckenridge and the lineup of Thrice has since then remained the same. Thrice's debut album entitled First Impressions was released in 1998 and was followed up in 2001 with their sophomore album, Identity Crisis. They went on to release 6 more studio albums including 2005's Vheissu and 2009 Beggars and in 2012 they will embark on their final tour before going on hiatus.

Thrice has been thrilling fans with their rocking sound and lively concerts since 1998, and even though they will be going on hiatus, band members say they are not officially breaking up. The future for Thrice's band members will probably include individual, solo projects, but one day they might play as a band once more.
