Sleigh Bells

electronic, noise pop, lo-fi I'm a fan

Derek Edward Miller and Alexis Krauss are the creative musical duo known as Sleigh Bells. Together, these two innovative musicians have been creating a genre of music known as noise pop since the 2008 release of the Sleigh Bells EP. The Sleigh Bells EP earned this band critical acclaim and quickly won them the attention of Pitchfork Media and New York Times which helped pave the way to their current success. In 2010, Sleigh Bells released their first full length studio album, Treats, which produced the singles "Tell 'Em", and "Crown on the Ground" and the popularity of this album contributed to appearances at 2 extremely popular annual indie rock music extravaganzas, the Coachella Music and Arts Festival and the Pitchfork Music Festival. Their most recent album, 2012's Reign of Terror, has won Sleigh Bells even more recognition and since the release of this album, they have been playing in concert while on a tour that even included an appearance on Saturday Night Live.
