Electronic hip hop singer/songwriter and producer Santigold has been creating music since the 2007 release of her Santogold album. Given the birth name of Santi White, Santigold's music originally gained popularity through the buzz it stirred on the internet but since that time she's become a critically acclaimed performer with legions of fans. 2011's Master of My Make-Believe is produced in part with Tv on the Radio's Dave Sitek and includes a duet with Karen Oh of the Yeah Yeah Yeas entitled "Go!" which is further proof that Santigold's popularity within the indie music community is growing.

Since the beginning of her career, Santigold has played on tour with popular musicians like M.I.A., Bjork, Coldplay, Beastie Boys and the Red Hot Chili Peppers and she even made played in concert at 2009's annual summer music festival, Lollapalooza.
