Formed in Dayton, Ohio in 2001, Hawthorne Heights is a pop punk band that consists of members Micah Carli, JT Woodruff, Matt Ridenour and Eron Bucciarelli. Originally known as A Day In The Life, Hawthorne Heights has released a total of 4 studio albums including 2004's The Silence in Black and White and 2008's Fragile Future and is known for creating the hit singles "Niki FM" and "Silver Bullet". In 2007, Hawthorne Heights suffered through tragedy when they lost member Casey Calvert to an accidental drug overdose, and they wrote the song "Four Became One" in memory of their lost member. Through the years, Hawthorne Heights has played in concert while on tour and has made many appearances amongst the festival circuit, and they have performed with musicians Chris Cornell and Busta Rhymes.
