Lead by the vocals of pastor Mark Hall, Casting Crowns is a Christian rock band that has written inspirational, award winning songs since 1999. Originally formed in Florida by members Mark Hall, Juan and Melodee DeVevo and Hector Cervantes, Casting Crowns relocated to Georgia in 2001 and were joined by current members Chris Huffman, Andy Williams and Megan Garrett. Their self titled debut album was released in 2003 and since that time Casting Crowns has gone on to release 5 more albums including 2007's The Altar and the Door and 2009's Until the World Hears and these albums have won them the prestige of winning 1 Grammy Award and 16 GMA Dove Awards.
