Beirut is an American band that plays ethnic-specific music, which includes Balkan and Indie folk. They perform many shows in the United States and Europe. The band also performs in Melbourne, Australia at The Falls Music Festival.

About Beirut and its Band Members

Zach Condon, a trumpet player originally from Santa Fe, New Mexico, first established the Beirut band with three musicians. It was not until after the release of their debut album, Gulag Orkestar, the four band members would become the fully-fledged music band Beirut.
